Everything you need to understand the Ditto economy, start creating, and start earning.

01

Getting Started

The four questions every new user asks.

What is Ditto?

Ditto is the first economy for AI creativity. Creators earn royalties every time their work is remixed. GPU owners earn for every generation they power. Users participate with DITTO — the token that ties the economy together.

How do I earn as a creator?

Make AI art (or upload existing work), share it to the feed, and you automatically earn a royalty every time someone dittos your piece. The earlier you are in a remix chain, the more you earn.

How do I earn as a GPU provider?

Install the Ditto node on your gaming PC. It picks up AI generation jobs in the background and pays you DITTO for each one. The more VRAM you have, the more jobs you qualify for.

Do I need a wallet?

Not to join the waitlist — just an email. A crypto wallet (MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, or any Base-compatible wallet) is needed to receive royalties, hold DITTO, and participate in governance. You can connect one whenever you’re ready.

02

Core Concepts

The primitives behind the Ditto economy.

What is a "Ditto"?

A Ditto is a one-click remix. When you tap the 〃 button on any creation, you create a new piece derived from the original — and the original creator earns a royalty automatically.

How do royalties work?

Royalties are paid on every Ditto. Payments flow on-chain in DITTO tokens, split across the remix lineage: a portion to the direct parent, and smaller portions to every earlier creator in the chain.

What is the remix chain?

Every Ditto is linked to the piece it came from, forming a chain of authorship. If A is dittoed by B, and B is dittoed by C, then C’s royalty is split between A and B. The longer the chain, the more hands earn.

What is the DITTO token?

DITTO is the native utility token of the Ditto economy. It’s used to pay for generations, distribute royalties, reward GPU providers, stake for priority, and vote on governance.

For Creators — Quick Guide

Four things to know before your first upload.

01

Creating AI art

Use the Studio to generate images (and videos soon) from text prompts. Pick a style, hit generate, and your piece lands in your Studio — and the public feed if you choose to share it.

02

Uploading existing work

Already have art? Upload it straight into Ditto. Uploaded work is still fully ownable, remixable, and earns royalties just like AI-generated pieces.

03

NSFW labeling

If your piece is 18+, toggle the mature-content flag when you share. Labeled content is only visible to users who have explicitly opted in. Unlabeled NSFW is removed.

04

Tracking royalties

Your Studio shows live earnings per piece, per remix chain, and per timeframe. Withdraw DITTO to your wallet any time — there are no hold periods.

04

For GPU Providers — Quick Guide

From installer to first payout in four steps.

01

Hardware requirements

Any NVIDIA GPU with 8 GB+ VRAM (RTX 3070 and up). Windows 10/11 or Linux, stable internet, and a wallet address to receive payouts.

02

One-click installer

Download the Ditto node, paste your wallet address, hit Start. The node runs in the background and can be paused whenever you need your GPU for games.

03

How jobs are assigned

Jobs are routed to available GPUs based on VRAM, uptime, and a reputation score built from completed jobs. Higher-reputation nodes get priority on the best-paying work.

04

Tracking earnings

Your Provider dashboard shows jobs completed, DITTO earned, uptime, and your rank on the leaderboard. Earnings settle on-chain continuously.

05

Glossary

Seven terms you'll see everywhere on Ditto.

Ditto
The action of remixing a creation with one click. Also the name of the platform and the native token (DITTO).
Remix chain
The ordered lineage of creations derived from an original piece. Royalties are paid to every participant in the chain.
DITTO
The native utility token of the platform. Used for generations, royalties, staking, and governance.
GPU provider
Anyone running a Ditto node that contributes compute to the decentralized network in exchange for DITTO.
Base
The Ethereum Layer-2 network Ditto is built on. Chosen for low fees, fast confirmations, and a growing creator ecosystem.
Staking
Locking DITTO to earn priority access, rewards, and governance rights. Unstaking has a short cooldown.
Royalty
An automatic on-chain payment to a creator triggered every time their work is dittoed.
